Rahul Arora is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of United Sourcing, an international strategic advisory firm. He previously held finance and operations leadership positions at GE Capital and Sears Holdings Corporation. Rahul is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience leading turnarounds, propelling growth in mature organizations and establishing start-up operations. He has extensive experience in conducting international business and cross-cultural negotiations, working with government agencies, politicians, and bureaucrats and has advised and assisted organizations in entering foreign markets. Rahul has significant executive level and managerial expertise in FP&A, controllership and internal audit; planning, budgeting, and forecasting of various capital and operating business models; and attainment of expense and productivity standards. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black-Belt. Rahul has a proven track record in designing, developing and implementing Quality improvements methodologies such as Six Sigma and Total Quality Management and has received accolades for achieving significant Quality improvements. He is a frequent speaker on business, innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and public policy. Rahul earned his MPA from Harvard University and holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Iowa.
Deborah Ortiz is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of United Sourcing. She brings a wealth of experience to the organization, having built and managed scalable, world-class operations throughout an accomplished career. Prior to United Sourcing, Deborah held a variety of leadership roles at Target, Jefferson Davis and Associates and MCI. She received a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance from the University of Iowa.
Nick Rigas is a Senior Advisor in the Financial Services Group at United Sourcing. He is an accomplished professional with broad experience in the financial services industry. Nick has over 15 years of experience as a financial planner and is a recognized expert in wealth management. He has broad-based experience in financial planning, individual tax planning and money management, with a particular focus on asset allocation, investment strategies and real estate. Nick has inside experience at many of the most prestigious wealth management firms in the US, having worked for Fidelity Investments, Bank of America, John Hancock, and TIAA-CREF. He has spoken extensively throughout the country on financial planning topics. Nick received his BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Management from Northeastern University and an MPA from Harvard University. He has earned his Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation and completed the Boston University Certificate Degree Program on Financial Planning.
John Burns is a Senior Advisor in the Strategic Advisory and Business Development Group at United Sourcing. Mr. Burns has over 35 years of extensive experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he was Regional Vice President at Genworth Mortgage Insurance (a GE Capital spin off). Prior to GE, Mr. Burns was Vice President, Risk Management at PMI Mortgage Insurance. He holds a BS from Loyola University.
Tilak Raj is Country Director at United Sourcing. He is responsible for overall management of the organization’s operations in India. Mr. Raj has over 30 years of experience in government relations, defense contract management and real estate industry. He has received several awards acknowledging his contribution in the field of construction and real estate.
